As Spring tries to peak out through the rain and fog of April, my attention draws to new clothes for the season. My obsession started a few weeks ago and shows no sign of slowing down. Maxi Dresses. These comfy, easy Spring to Summer dresses are the must have of my life. Yes, I know they're nothing new, but I could careless.
These maxis can be dressed up or down, depending on the fabric, shoes, and accessories. Fortunately, these dresses are easy for shopaholics to obtain. They are sold anywhere from Old Navy to Bloomie's to boutique stores. And I'm hitting them all. Some are strapless, some with spaghetti straps. Some solid colors, some prints. All different fabrics. I'm in love.
Right now my favorite is from Down to Earth in Hoboken, NJ; a sophisticated tie-die-ish effect and I CAN NOT wait to wear it. Just waiting on Mother Nature to turn up the heat. Another favorite is a solid black maxi, with which the possibilites are endless. However, I must admit my purpose for this one began with my one of a kind Eda and Betty necklace. Hey- I'm a girl who likes to shop and works hard to pay for it.
I'm thinking this may lead to the next obsession of shoes...
