Last night was the premiere of the final season of The Hills. I've been following Lauren's life since she's been LC and while I'm sad the show is ending, it's best to go out on top.
The first episodes did not disappoint! Right into it with Heidi appearing at Lauren's b-day bash. Sidenote- just so Lauren knows- I wore the flapper outfit first for my birthday this year. So, if that wasn't awkward enough - Spencer is out being is awesome self and hitting on a bartender. Not too sure what Stephanie's ex thought was going to happen once Spencer figured out who was the tattle tale. Even with the tearfest though; it's not looking like Lauren wants to be friends with Heidi any time soon.
Heidi then bounces to CO- where her mom did a fantastic job setting up an uncomfortable dinner with Heidi's ex. We all know Spencer sucks, but wow, that scene was painful to watch.
Meanwhile in LA the super intelligent Spencer goes BACK to same bartender that sent Heidi packing. That should help his cause later down the line.
BTW- that bartender has a lot of nerve or is just desperate to be on TV. Either way, I won't miss her.
On a minor note, it's nice to see Stephanie growing a pair against her brother. Normally she can't form a thought and just says "Spencer, really?" She does need to step back a bit with Heidi before Lauren writes her off the show.
I find it funny that within the Pratt family - Brody will talk to Spencer but hates Stephanie. Lauren will talk to Stephanie but hates Spencer. Just a little irony.
Anyways, looking forward to the rest of the season - Brody & Audrina - what!? After the whole Justin Bobby meltdown! Spencer's apology to Lauren. All good stuff coming up.
