After our beerfest adventure and some food, we made a trip to my brother's apartment/dorm room/ mansion. If you overlooked the mess - his place was massive! I've never seen an on campus living arrangement so large anywhere. Still miffed at the walk-in closets, numerous bathrooms, and the "foyer." Since when do college rooms have foyers?
Since Loyola is a bar college, that's where we went. A true "college bar." The kind where I can't remember the name of it (if it even had one), you don't go to after you graduate (ever), and the students know when a certain lady is checking IDs, you're not getting in. No worries- she didn't work this particular Saturday.
Arriving around midnight - the guy double checks Brian & my IDs b/c we actually are the age it says - the night began.
Ok, now where to start - it took a solid 20 minutes to walk across a single room to go downstairs. It all starts coming back to me now - I remember doing this. Downstairs we get a 24oz. beer in a bottle for $4.00. That just has to make you smile and feel almost guilty.
We head over to the beer pong tables, where I refuse to play without new cups. Sorry you can call me what you will, but it was just TOO nasty. Filling up brand new cups, the "old" couple whooped the college kids.
My one mistake of the evening was my attire. I was wearing leggings with a sleeved shirt and that was entirely too much clothing. I forgot the rules -to wear as little as possible and get as drunk as you can. Get'em next time, I'm ready.
With all that being said - it was a great night. I love hanging out with my brother and it was fun to pretend I was a 20 yr. old college kid. Even though they were all a hot mess, I was jealous of them. College really is the time of your life - enjoy it.
